Dear Nigel and Yanie,

We are writing to express our sheer delight upon returning from a recent visit and stay in your Elephant Safari Park & Lodge in early January this year. We cannot put into words just how amazing your establishment is and the unequalled wildlife experience it provides for all visitors and lodge guests. Your staff are fabulous and we were soooo impressed with the high level of care they provide for each of your elephants and the visitor interactions they conduct on a regular basis. We are unaware of anywhere in the world where you can actually bathe and swim with elephants and I'm sure we shedded quite a few tears over the incredible feeling it gave us all.

We also purchased the dvd on how the park was established and how you personally rescued these animals from Sumatra. You are to be commended for the entire venture and this will hopefully convey to people throughout the world just how important it is to conserve any endangered species. Given that we all work within the same industry, we are all zoo keepers/park manager in Australia, we understand the importance of promoting conservation and we are so proud of what you have done with these elephants, especially within a third world country that would have presented you with many obstacles on the way.

It was evident that you and your staff have a passion for these animals and the environment you have provided for them is so beautiful and reassures visitors that they are in a sanctuary that will ensure a happy and healthy life for your elephants. The pristine gardens, immacualte rooms, delicious food and unforgettable memories will ensure that visitors will always return from their experience at your lodge with the conservation message in mind and will tell all their family and friends just how amazing it all was. We certainly have and will not only return again someday but will also hold these memories with us forever.

Your park is a credit to both yourselves and the industry and we hope that you convey our appreciation to your staff aswell as they are the heart and soul of your business.

I just wanted to say a really really big thank you for all of your help in organising our wedding in Taro. The wedding was absolutely brilliant and the photos are fantastic. Everyone at the Elephant Park really looked after us and we felt like celebrities for the 3 days we stayed. The Taro Suite was also gorgeous and we loved every minute of it. Thanks again for being so kind to us at the elephant park...we both agree that Bali was definitely the highlight of our Australia/ Bali trip...but the elephant park was, without a doubt, the absolute highlight of our trip. What an amazing park you have there.. in almost every photo I took (and I took a lot that day), it just seems that every elephant in every photo is smiling. It was definitely the favorite day of our entire 3 week trip...we cannot wait to come back and visit you and all the elephants again.

My husband, who is normally quite cynical about these type of places thought it was one of the best holiday experiences of his life, and this was our best Christmas together in almost 20 years.

I think I have taken part in everything from washing the elephants to being painted by the elephant, Debi.

You and your staff made our anniversary so special & memorable, it would be almost impossible to come close to competing with.

I recently stayed with you for 2 nights accompanied by my husband and parents. We had a fantastic time and we found all staff were helpful and friendly, and the park is well designed, thought out and magical. We had a slight hiccup on arrival as our travel agent had taken us to the wrong safari park but our check-in at Elephant Safari Park Lodge was efficient and friendly and additional help was offered to ensure that our pick up on Friday was organised correctly to avoid delay. Our itinerary was a lovely surprise and again, the staff we dealt with were helpful in rearranging some of the times to ensure we got the maximum from our 2 days.

I also wanted to thank you for an additional service that was provided. When we arrived at our next hotel, The Legian, there was already a message that I had left my keys in the room at your resort. This surprised me as I was not aware we had advised anyone of our next stop. The staff then arranged for my keys to be returned to me with no fuss. I was very impressed at the level of client service that was provided and very appreciative.

Many thanks for a wonderful holiday. Everyone we met obviously cared about the park, both the enjoyment of the guests and, more importantly, the care of the elephants.

Hi there,

I would just like to say a quick but huge thank you to all the staff at Elephant Safari Park Lodge.  Myself and my husband spent one wonderful night at the lodge for our honeymoon the past weekend. The experience was magical and more than amazing, and one we will never forget.

The accommodation, personal service and assistance, food and atmosphere was absolutely wonderful. And the one on one interaction with the elephants was better than expected. We cannot wait to come back, and will need to stay longer next time! Will happily tell all our family and friends to see the Lodge during their stay at Bali.

Please pass on our thanks, appreciation, respect and admiration to Nigel also. The dedication and work he has put into the lodge has certainly paid off, for the beautiful elephants who were given a second chance, and the lucky visitors who get to spend time with them.

We are very happy to have been your guests at the Safari Park last week. Our stay was wonderful, the interaction with the Elephants was outstanding, including the Safari rides and the washing of the Elephants each morning. The standout however were the babies who were just wonderful to watch.

We were pleased with all the amenities of the room and the dining facilities but a special mention must be made of all of the staff at the park who in our view were excellent.

You and Nigel should be very pleased with what you have built in Bali, many organisations around the world would do well to visit you and take note of your park’s Service Skills and the culture you have built.

We hope to be able to return and stay a week next time, perhaps next March for the village ceremony! Just have to find time to fit another visit in!!
